Attach Snaps for Cosplay
Choose craft foam in the size and color of your choice in order to begin forming your cosplay outfit. Craft foam, available in 8 by 16 sheets or by-the-yard, is useful for creating cuffs, belts, shirt collars and weaponry. cosplay
Cut the foam down to the size you need for your outfit. Use pinking shears if you want to create a wavy design on the newly cut foam or regular scissors if you want a straight edge.
Wrap the foam around you in the areas you wish to place it. Take note of wear the ends of the foam overlap; these areas are where you want to add the snaps. buy cosplay

Add small dots to the foam where you plan to put the snaps. These dots will serve as guidelines and will help you keep the snaps even with each other. Be sure to add dots on both the top part of the foam and the bottom portion.
Use an eyelet and snap punch, which is available at your local craft store, to create your snap holes. Place the top portion of your heavy-duty no-sew snap in the top portion of the snap punch, and the bottom portion in the bottom of the punch. cosplay shop
Line up the bottom and top portions of foam so the pen dots line up. Slide the snap punch so the foam is in the center of the snap punch and press down hard to attach the snaps to the foam.
Slide the punch off the foam and gently test the snap. The snap should be fully functional. Continue adding more snaps if necessary.
